Fiamma Awning with Quality Vinyl Canopy

An essential for camping enthusiasts, who enjoy getting out in their conversion or recreational vehicles! The Fiamma F65 Eagle 399 is upgraded with a motorised winch, which assists the canopy extension while you sit back and watch. The canopy is made from Fiamma’s quality Royal Grey vinyl and protected by a canopy case in Polar White.

F65 Eagle Compatibility and Application

The F65 Eagle is for general installation to motorhomes, caravans and RV’s. This specific model is supplied as standard with dedicated Fiat Ducato brackets, for installation to the roof. Brackets are produced in different lengths; relevant brackets are supplied complete with awning to support the length of the canopy case. 

A helping of Polyurethane Caulking Adhesive is needed to ensure the bond between surface and brackets is secure. Sikaflex 252 bonding agent is recommended by Fiamma for use with their brackets. Grab some for yourself via this link: J47926.

Fiamma Eagle Structure

The Eagle model is unique to standard Fiamma canopies; the self-supporting arms are reinforced with duralumin support blocks to create a durable framework that keeps the canopy taught and weight sustained. This means that your canopy can support itself, without the need for structural legs; presenting unlimited floor space and freedom for movement under shelter.

The self-supporting arms are set to an angle of inclination, prefixed to 10 degrees; this can be altered to suit the height of your vehicle from between 5 to 17 degrees. Alter the angle to make sure water flows off the canopy in the correct direction. The lead bar features a double guide, which gives you the option to mount up to two optional front panels or other F65 Eagle accessories.

The self-supporting canopy is protected by Fiamma’s Wind Detection System, which automatically activates the 12 V motorised winch when it detects high winds. The motor reigns the canopy inward to prevent the assembly from enduring damage. Automated function is assisted by roller-support guides, which ensure the canopy fabric is rolled in the right direction.
