Vango Faros II Low Drive-Away Inflatable Awning

The Vango Faros II Air Low is a lightweight and compact awning, ideal for short breaks. This drive-away awning can be left free standing on your pitch, leaving you free to explore for the day. With a double entry system and large front door with mesh panels, this awning provides a great living space and thanks to the Sentinel Active Fabric, this awning is compact to save valuable packing space.

Inside your Vango Faros:

The Vango Faros will ensure a comfortable and convenient camping trip with its variety of unique features, including the AirBeam structure and Sentinel Active fabric.

Sentinel Active:

Vango’s waterproof and durable Sentinel Sport fabric ensures this awning is protected from the elements. This high-quality fabric will perform well for many camping trips to come.

Defy the elements:

Defy the elements with the Vango Faros. Rest assured the awning will perform in adverse conditions due to the TBS II Tension Band System. These bands, when tensioned, brace the beam or pole at 3 points preventing sideways movement. By adjusting the TBS II you can remove slack, but DO NOT over tension, as this may deform the poles. In calm weather, simply stow away. Strong and durable Steel Rock Pegs, supplied in a convenient carry bag, assist in pitching on difficult terrain.

This awning’s King Pole Door can be doubled up as a canopy by adding additional king poles through the door eyelets, ideal to provide shelter from sun and rain. Vango’s AirZone ventilation assists in increasing air flow and reducing condensation. This awning’s mesh front door also allows for good ventilation whilst keeping bugs at bay. The fully sewn in groundsheet, attached to the flysheet with external storm skirt, also provides a bug free environment whilst preventing a draught from getting in. An optional groundsheet protector is also available (J43999), ensuring the built-in groundsheet is sheltered from the elements. This will allow for easier packing, storage, and pitching. Tested to European Standard EN5912 for wind and heavy rainfall.

PLEASE NOTE: This awning is designed for touring use. It is not designed for static or long-term seasonal pitching as extensive exposure to UV light will cause accelerated fabric degradation. UV degradation is not covered under the warranty. However, under normal holiday use your awning will give long service AirBeam system: Vango’s unique AirBeam structure and supplied double action AirBeam pump, supplied in handy carry bag with pressure dial, will provide quick inflation for this awning. Small AirBeams secured in between the main AirBeams also enhance stability.

Another feature which provides stability is this awning’s pre-angled beams. Not only do these beams provide abundant internal space, but they ensure effective bracing against winds.

Drive-away:

This awning can be free standing with the addition of a Drive Away kit. Simply detach the connecting tunnel, roll and toggle to secure when you’re out exploring. Upon your return, just re-attach the awning to your vehicle.

Walk-through:

The awning’s easy access doors provide flat entry for wheelchairs, pushchairs, and those with reduced mobility. The two-door tunnel attachment also provides clear access to both the front and rear of your vehicle.

The Airhub’s Diamond Clear windows help to provide abundant light whilst allowing for good ventilation. And when you’re in need of some peace, simply draw the privacy curtains. These can be adjusted to various levels of opening and can be rolled and secured when not in use. After a little extra comfort while you’re enjoying the view? There is an optional carpet available (J44031). Setting your awning up: To ensure vehicle compatibility, this awning comes with various vehicle attachment methods:

· Pre-attached 6 mm Kador,

· 8 m over vehicle straps,

· Roof bar attachment tabs,

· Sleeve for pole-and-clamp kit system.

The tunnel adjustment strap collects any excess material, helping to create a smarter looking tunnel and ensure a close fit to your vehicle. Packing it away: The Oversized Easy Pack Carry Bag makes packing away the awning easy! Warranty & repairs: We work with our retail partners to manage all warranty repairs, and it is important that the sales contract (between you and the retailer you purchased your product from) remains valid, throughout any warranty claim. If you believe your product is a warranty claim, please initially contact the retailer from whom you purchased the product, and they will advise you of the most appropriate course of action. Should your retailer decide that your product needs to be returned to us for inspection, they will return the product on your behalf. The more detail you can provide, the quicker and more accurate we can be in our response. Products must be returned for inspection clean and dry. Any products received in an unsatisfactory condition may be returned to the sender without inspection.

As a guide, the following damage is not covered under warranty:

· General wear and tear over extended periods of use,

· Flaws in the fabric caused by excessive wear,

· Water ingress through fabric as a result of UV degradation,

· Water ingress through seams caused by excessive abrasion of seams or seam sealant tape,

· Broken zips caused by forcing, jamming or improper use, · Over tensioned/stretched seams coming apart,

· Buckles subjected to undue force or abrasion,

· Broken carry/roller bag if they are overloaded, used for carrying other items or used as a toy,

· Any pole breakages/beam punctures, these are treated as "fair wear and tear",

· Collateral damage from a pole breakages/beam punctures,

· UV degradation,

· Condensation, usually caused by lack of ventilation,

· Use by rental companies, outdoor centres, or youth groups, via commercial or not for profit Approved Activity Providers is governed by our standard warranty terms.

In any claim circumstance, Vango reserve the right to inspect in accordance with our fair wear and tear policy and will advise of the outcome thereafter.
