Give the performance engine in your T2 Bay a serious boost with a pair of EMPI Super Vee Stage 2 Cylinder Heads.

These replacement cylinder heads are ideal for performance or race engines, and are built to last using the highest quality parts and materials.

Built from European-sourced castings and machined with 5-axis CNC-ported inlet passages, exhaust passages and combustion chambers, these heads are designed for modified engines requiring improved airflow.

Fits VW T2 Bays built from 1976 to 1979 with a 3-bolt intake manifold.

Please Note: Installing these cylinder heads may require minor modification to the engine tin, and require a 103–105 mm cylinder bore as they're intended for suitably modified engines. They are not a direct fit for a standard-bore 2.0-litre Type 4 engine.

Also fits the Porsche 914 built from 1973 to 1976, and the Porsche 912e built in 1976.

What are Manley Valves?

These EMPI Super Vee cylinder heads are fitted with a pair of valves created by Manley, who are one of the world's leading manufacturers of stainless steel engine valves for performance and racing. There's reason that EMPI makes such a big deal of using Manley engine valves in their products: Manley are widely regarded as the best in the world!

How do I Fit EMPI’s Super Vee Ported 2.0 Litre Type 4 Cylinder Heads?

You’ll need a three-bolt intake manifold before you can fit these performance cylinder heads, and minor modifications to the engine tin may be necessary. We recommend that the installation is carried out by an experienced air-cooled engine builder or specialist workshop, who can set, check, and correct important elements like the compression ratio and valve-to-piston clearance during assembly.
