Best Quality Ball Joint VW T5 and VW T6

Bought this ball joint over the standard ball joint for the *implied* improvement in quality, rather than from any actual distinction JK have bothered to make (there is nothing here to discriminate between the two offerings, with both having the same picture and two screws shown**).
The ball joint shadow does not have a stainless taper as shown here, but rather an oil blacked one. Further, the dust cover states 'Germany' but the box states 'Made in Slovakia', with red and blue painted seal rings rather than stainless as shown in the photo.
They did fit perfectly to my T5 (11 years and just over 80k miles for the originals, if you're asking, the nearside dustcover having ruptured) and obviously longevity is untested, but the poor and incorrect information on the website, particularly on why this model is better than the other, drops JK a star for this.

You'll need an M14 spline socket, a 21mm spanner and a 7mm Allen key or 7mm Allen socket bit to fit this item to your vehicle.

**these are no longer supplied, apparently. I complained after receiving no screws with my ball joints and they did rummage in the stockroom and send some out quick smart, but that's not really the point. If they change the product, they should update the website just as quickly.
