4 Stud Beetle to Wide 5 Drum Spacer Kit

Brake spacer kit. Ideal when converting VW T2 Splits to straight axles or IRS using a Beetle gearbox with 4 stud drums to wide 5 stud.

Simple to fit, you unbolt your 4 stud drum, add one thin spacer to the drive shaft then fit a pre 1966 Beetle drum - part number J14521. Then fit the thick spacer and re fit the 36mm hub nut. This then gives you the early 5 x 205 stud pattern with the advantage of having the late style larger brakes.

This kit can also be used to convert your late 4 stud Beetle to early 5x 205 drums.
