These new headlight grills are designed to mirror the style of the grills fitted to the Porsche 356, and don’t require any modification to fit.
The top of the grill hooks in between the glass and the chrome headlight rim, while the bottom part fixes at the the original mounting bolt.
Fits VW Beetles built from 1947 to 1967, and VW T2 Splits built from 1950 to 1967.
