Glove box linerReally good item, bit more difficult to get in place, bit of pushing and pulling but no real problem

Spot on!!!I was a bit concerned reading the reviews, but went ahead and ordered it. As usual, I had to wait all of about 24 hours for a box to appear. The liner fits perfectly, strangely the strap needed a little bit of fettling as it was a bit tight in the slot at the top. All the fears were unfounded. It looks brilliant and so much nicer than the cardboard ones.

Easypeasy!Read some of the reviews before I attempted to fit mine so was prepared for a little effort, but no effort required old one fell out new one went straight in so easy thought I must have it wrong! No cutting or trimming original strap held it in tightly.

Pretty good.Obviously the original cardboard glovebox liners that were fitted by Volkswagen 40+ years ago are going to suffer and need replacing, and so a plastic insert is ideal.
It's not what I would call an easy job, and rightly or wrongly the insert comes with no instructions what so ever, but after a bit of jiggling around and working out the order in which to do things (clip in retaining strap at top, get front in place, lift back up, screw in retaining strap, worked for me eventually) it does look good, and hopefully will never need doing again.
I'm not sure that a product should need reshaping with a hacksaw, but I guess 'one size kind of fits all' does keep manufacturing costs down.

Great product - some slight adjustment needed to fitHaving never had a liner for my glovebox (just a hole where it should have been) this was a great addition to my bus. Took a little filing here and there to ensure a good fit, but once adjusted, i'm quite pleased with it. Sturdy plastic construction, so solid enough, and easy access to the fusebox beneath.
If your cardboard original is knackered or missing, I'd definitely recommend you buying this and spending a little time ensuring a perfect fit.Posted on

Great replacementMy old cardboard glovebox was really tatty and this plastic replacement is superb.
I had trouble stretching the fixing strap around the new glovebox but just fitted a longer screw and it worked perfectly. I didn't have any trouble getting it in place.
I have a VW T2 1971 for info.
Highly recommended.Posted on
