At a glance:

  • Parts made using top quality steel, sourced from the UK,
  • Powder coated in grey paint, to keep your parts in good condition when in transit and storage,
  • Perfect measurements keep everything healthy; no intense pressure or warping occurs because of poor fitting,
  • Manufactured by Preservation Parts, ever-growing range developing since 2012.

Inner Centre Sill with track for sliding door Offside VW T2 Bay 1967-1979

The length of the sill measures approximately 151.5 cm. The smaller end measures just 7 cm, while the rest of the sill measures 9 cm along. The sill comes complete with the track for the sliding door and fits all VW T2 Bays from 1967 to 1979, which feature a sliding door on the offside (right side).

Why should I replace my existing part?

Your sills are critical parts of the vehicle body structure, and this sill supports the movement of your sliding door. It’s normal for sills to corrode and wear over years, especially if they have never been replaced by previous owners. If this happens, you will need an effective replacement, that can support the weight and movement of your sliding door.

Preservation Parts metalwork like this are made right here in the UK, in the unit which joins on to JK HQ in the Hampshire countryside.
