We teamed up with the experts at Preservation Parts to produce a variety of parts and panels, to replace those commonly rusted areas and do so easily. We designed every part to be as close to the original VW designs as possible. We mimicked the shapes and specifications of the originals and give the designs to Preservation Parts to produce.
This Preservation Parts item is designed and manufactured to mirror the exact parts as they were released from factory. Parts are manufactured by hand and use other methods such as CNC machining and laser cutting, when necessary, to provide as accurate a copy as possible.
Why should I replace my existing classic part?
This small panel is made to replace just a small section of the wheel arch, at one time. This means that you can repair your rust without having to replace the whole wheel arch. The wheel arches are often subject to damage by rust, but this is common with any vehicle, new or old. A build-up of moisture leads to rust and makes the metal weak, thin and can sometimes lead to holes in the panel. When this happens, it’s important that the metal is removed and replaced as soon as possible. Keep your van in tip top condition by replacing your underfloor belly pan with a perfect replica of an original VW part.
