Located in the long tube running from front to rear of your bus, these shift rod support bushes can often cause problems when changing gear if they are worn. This bush can cure a sloppy gear change.
Fits the front of the rear shift rod on all VW T2 Bays from 1967 to 1979. We also stock a complete bush kit: J14355.

Gear rod bushesThere's a long way from stick to gearbox on a bus and any wear or slop in the joints quickly gets amplified. You need to remove the gearbox to remove the link rod and replace these bushes. And removing the gearbox means taking the engine out. If you have your bus in pieces for the winter or doing a major resto while worth changing these.
