We designed this front chassis cross member to match the dimensions of the original part that your T2 Bay left the factory with.

Please note, these parts are manufactured to fit perfectly to the shape of your van, as it left the factory. These parts may require modification, if your classic has been subject to prior modifications over the years.

Will it fit my vehicle?

This front chassis crossmember has been created to the same specifications as the part which VW fitted to VW T2 Bays from 1973 to 1979. 

Sometimes known as ‘Late Bays’ these vehicles have a number of differences to so-called ‘Early Bays’ built from 1968 to 1972. 

The crossmember joins the front chassis rails together, in line with the front outriggers.
