Dynamo or Alternator Shim VW Beetle 1961–1998 VW T2 Split 1961–1967 VWT2 Bay 1600cc 1967–1979
This is a replacement shim for dynamo or alternator pulleys and is a vital component for correct adjustment of your V-belt. There are 10 shims used in total. To adjust the belt, remove the shims from between the pulley halves and re-use them on the front face of the outer pulley. Using the correct number keeps the pulley tight.
Sold individually, ten required per vehicle. Fits all VW Beetles from 1961 to 1998, T2 Split Screens from 1961 to 1967, and 1600cc VW T2 Bays from 1967 to 1979.
