Cylinder head stud (175mm). These studs are used in the 1700, 1800, 2000cc Aircooled engine as fitted to VW T2 Bays from 1971 to 1979 and the 2000cc Aircooled VW T25 1979 to 1983.
Watercooled T25s developed a common problem of rusting studs. In these engines, the studs are immersed in water and, over time, they are prone to rust and fail - especially if the wrong antifreeze has been used.
Sandard 175mm studs. Sold individually, four required per engine. Check the length of your studs before ordering - you may need J10479 or J10938 instead.
