    • Hi, I've recently received one of these and am planning on fitting it this weekend, weather permitting. Do I need two copper gaskets (J10314) per exchanger? and would you recommend replacing the silencer to exchanger gasket too? thanks
    • Answer: Yes you would need 2 copper rings per exchanger . If your exhaust is blowing or you can see a hole then we would recommend replacing it

    • Your illustration shows a round port for the air hose on the offside heat exchanger and a oval port on the near side heat exchanger, on my heat exchangers fitted they are the other way round, is this a illustration error? or are my heat exchangers on a early 1973
      model different
    • Answer: Thank you for your question, on top of the heat exchanger there is a metal tube that links to the hot air hoses, are you looking at the tubes or directly at the top of the heat exchanger ? The right hand tube has a round base on the heat exchanger and a oval end to the paper tube. the left hand is the other way around. We hope this helps JK

    • I have a 1978 T2 Canada model. With the multi piece heat exchanger style. Will this integrated heat exchanger fit? I am also unsure if it has the slip in tube with copper ring gaskets to cylinder head or the other type?
    • Answer: It may do. Please can you email pictures of your current set up to [email protected] so we can check.
