A set of 4 EMPI forged Chromoly I Beam Rods, using the OE design but forged to give a high performance con rod without breaking the bank.
These are supplied with 200,000 psi tensile load rod bolts for added strength, with radiused caps to help aid clearance when being used on a stroker crank.
The EMPI I-Beam Rod Set 5.394" is compatible with VW engines using a 2.165" (55mm) VW journal. The con rods are constructed from high-quality 4340 chromoly steel, ensuring strength and durability.
Specifications : Rod length 5.394 inches and 3/8" rod bolts.

When installing we would reccomend you use proper torque specifications for the 3/8 bolts (38 ft. lbs.) Maintenance should involve regular inspections for wear and tear.
