This is a brand new counter weighted crankshaft with standard VW main and rod bearings for the VW Type 1 Air- Cooled Engine. It is CNC machined from One Piece of forged 4140 Chromoly steel.
These cranks are micro polished and drilled for 8 dowels with 8mm dowel pins installed.
Using 87mm Pistons will increase capacity to 1855cc
Using 90.5mm Pistons will increase capacity to 2007cc
Using 92mm Pistons will increase capacity to 2074cc
Using 94mm Pistons will increase capacity to 2165cc
A counter weight crank greatly reduces crank flex that in turn would rob power.
Counterweighted crankshafts will require balancing with the fly wheel and pulley before installation
Your engine case and possibly other components will need machine work to allow for clearance when using a stocked crank
