Empi GTV Logo Gear Knob VW Beetle VW T2 Slit VW T2 Bay VW T25 / T3

This great quality replacement gear knob is finished with the EMPI GTV logo on the top, and is ready to be fitted to gear sticks with a 10mm or 12mm thread.

It’s also supplied with threaded adapters for 7 mm and 3/8-24” threads, which will then fit to the 12mm hole on the gearknob.

Fits the gearstick on the following vehicles:

• VW Beetles built from 1947 to 1986,

• VW T2 Splits built from 1950 to 1967,

• VW T2 Bays built from 1967 to 1979,

• VW Karmann Ghias built from 1955 to 1974,

• VW Type 3s built from 1961 to 1973,

• VW Type 181 Trekkers built from 1969 to 1979.

How Do I Fit the EMPI GTV Gear Knob?

Unscrew the existing gear knob and identify the thread diameter and pitch of your gear lever. Select the appropriate thread option and install the replacement knob, ensuring it is secure before driving.

Do not force the knob onto an incompatible thread.

Please Note: This is a universal-fit gear knob, not a vehicle-specific replacement. It is listed for compatible 4-speed manual gear levers with 3/8"-24, 7mm, 10mm or 12mm threads. Please check your existing gear lever's thread size and pitch before ordering.
