Ever since we set up Just Kampers back in 1989, and well before then, VW Owners’ Clubs have been part of the lifeblood of the VW community.
Like an extended family of people you can rely on for help, advice and fun, Owners’ Clubs haven’t become any less important to the scene in the age of social media and instant communication.
We want this space to act as a platform for VW Owners’ Clubs, to help them grow and expand and spread, and help more people enjoy what they have to offer.

We are a VAG family - All VAGs are welcome. Das KDF (the name of the club) originates from the first name given to the Volkswagen Beetle - the KDF-Wagen. KDF (Kraft Durch Freude) translates to 'Strength Through Joy' and was a positive movement in Germany promoting better living standards and leisure.
For Das KDF the translation works better as 'Kraft Durch Freunde' or 'Strength Through Friends' - which after all is what good clubs are built upon.
The Volks Enthusiasts Club was formed in August 1996. The club grew out of a desire to provide hard core VW enthusiasts with an opportunity to meet regularly to build and promote the VW scene.
Club meetings are held at 8:00pm on the first Wednesday of each month at the Austrian Club, Torrens Rd, Ovingham SA
