  • Nice and Easy

Received this in just 5 days I live in Australia great service again by JK fitted just how they said it would nice and easy to fit only had to trim plastic base of seat so it would turn easier but that was no problem even though I Can't read German instructions was very happy cheers !!!!!

  • Excellent and solid

Does what it says and frees up a lot of space in the van. Doesn't shift/creak when driving, rotating is easy once you work out that you need to slide the seat forwards and raise the seat back to nearer vertical.

Makes jumping up into the roof bed so much easier.

Easy to fit, some plastic trimming needed in order to get a clean, unobstructed turn.

  • Just the job

A sturdy item which was easy to fit, has really changed our van, has given it much more room and flexibility.

    • Hi

Can you tell me how deeply this swivel intrudes into the existing seat base?

I assume that the height stated of 27mm is how much it will raise the existing seat height, is this correct?

      Cheers
      Phil
    • Answer: Yes that is how much it would raise from an origonal one

I have an auxiliary battery under the passenger seat, which is below the top of the existing base, does the swivel base intrude into the original base and if so by how much?

    • I have a 2006 Transporter Crew Bus & don't seem able to find a single seat swivel base here in South Africa unless I possibly buy & convert one from the Caravelle range (I have no idea of the mods that would be required in order for me to do this). Is it at all possible for me to import one & if so what would the costs as well as the expected time of delivery etc?
    • Answer: you should be able to just bolt it on to the origonal base

    • I have a 2007 t5 transporter van that has had a camper van conversion by a professional fitter.
I would like to know if the front passenger Double seat will fit this swivel base, and if not, Do you supply a swivel to fit a double seat.
      hope you can help.
      Thanks Ray.
    • Answer: Hello. Sorry this isn't for the double seat and we do not sell one for a double seat I'm afraid.

    • Hi. I'm looking at retro fitting a pair of electric Audi A8 leather seats into the front of my T5. Do you if these seat swivels would be rated to take the additional weight of A8 seats?
    • Answer: Our swivel bases are made for standard T5 or Sportscraft seats.

    • What is the difference between seat swivel J39494 and J18044? My van was registered in May 2010. I am removing the double front seat and fitting a single one, I do intend to fit a leisure battery under it. Which is the correct swivel for this van?
    • Answer: If you are fitting a leisure battery you will need J39494 as the other J18044 has less clearance underneath.

    • Will this fit on the drivers side & passengers side of a LHD?
    • Answer: They will. However you'll need to order a handbrake relocation bracket for a LHD.
