  • Lovely bit of kit

The part arrived very promptly and only took about half an hour to fit (would have been shorter but there was a stubborn bolt attaching the old box). It's transformed the sound and feel of the van, it's a joy to drive and sounds great, quiet but "growly". It's gone onto a 1785cc bored out engine and runs really well, definitely feels like I've gained a bit of power up hills.

    • hi, i'm looking to replace an empi quiet pack exhaust and wondered if this will fit to the 4 in 1 header (not stainless) that is on my bus.
    • Answer: The flange on this silencer is to match the EMPI header so should be fine

    • Hi,

I have this setup with a 4 in 1 header and it is getting more noisy. Is this normal, if not were should look to quiet it down a bit?

    • Answer: It should not get more noisy . You need to check if there is a hole in the exhaust from it hitting the ground if it is lowered . The other thing to check is if the exhaust is lose as this could be why it gets more noisy

    • Hi
I have just bought this silencer as a replacement for the same as the weld had broken where the pipe enters the silencer box on the old one. I have noticed there is a bracket welded to the box, I assume to take the weight of the box. Is there a fixing kit for this as I believe this is what caused the weld to break ?

    • Answer: Hello,
Your exhaust kit would have originally come with a bracket to attach to the existing one, this would have been the cause of the weld breaking. We may be able to order in a kit for you from the supplier.
