Description

Quality Propex product. HS 2000 Heatsource. Fits all VWs with 12 volt electrics and enough space to install. Dimensions: 31.5cm x 16.5cm x 9.5cm (excluding outlets). Enjoy the luxury of central heating in your VW, whether you’re parked up or on the move – and it’s independent of your engine. The Propex HeatSource HS2000 is a highly efficient, compact, interior heating system that is specifically engineered for touring vehicles and motor homes. Please be aware these heaters are rated for use with 30mb butane and 30/37mb propane. This is widely acceptable across Europe though some European countries also use 50mb gas pressure. Please Note: Installation and servicing of this gas powered unit, must comply with current gas safety register-(GB), Corgi (Ni) regulations or the relevant national organisation.

Key benefits include:
Easy to install
Solid state electronic thermostat
Quiet in operation
Choice of propane, butane or LPG power
Reduces interior condensation
Room-sealed unit for safety
Minimal drain on battery
Extremely low maintenance

This system offers a high efficiency rating with the luxury of thermostatic control via an easily fitted, wall mounted thermostat. Unlike some heaters, it requires minimal electricity during ignition – so cycling the HeatSource on does not lead to additional battery drain.

Ball race bearings used in the heater fans allow quiet operation while a stainless steel burner and heat-exchanger coupled with clean combustion give maintenance-free durability.

Surprisingly compact, in Vans and Buses the unit is usually mounted in a bed-box or cupboard and flued downwards through the floor and out to the side of the vehicle using the flexible stainless ducting provided. It is supplied with a complete fitting kit to suit vehicle installation.

  • NICE AND HOT.

Very easy to fit. You just need a drill and a hole cutter set. Can pick a cheap one up for £8. Plus a tape measure and screwdriver.
Took me about 2 hours. Probably do one in a hour now.
Just turn on set temp and thats it. Nice warm van. Just adjust temp till you get what suits you. Unit turns of when temp is reached and back on when it drops again. No naked flames in the van so totally safe.
Bit of noise from blower but you would expect that from a blow air heater. But not to loud as to bother you.
    Would highly recommend to anyone.
