If you’re lucky enough to be running a high output motor in your aircooled VW, or would at least like to look that you are, this latest Scat Serpentine Pulley kit from could be just the thing.
Priced at just £169.00 including VAT, this superb quality kit is precision engineered from Billet aluminium and includes a degreed lower pulley to allow for accurate timing and set up. An essential mod for high-torque or high-RPM motors that may prove too much for the slightly frail stock pulley system, the Scat system also uses an easily adjustable tensioner pulley and hi-tensile reinforced belt to ensure that the all-important fan continues to do its thing, no matter how many horses you’re running. Cheap insurance!
Available in ‘Factory’ Black or polished Silver, the kits fit all Splitscreen, Beetles and Bay Windows Vans with the ‘upright’ aircooled engine from 1960-1979.
