Blowing soot help!!!

My van has been running great I have serviced her and she has new rocker cover seals, Plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, Oil and air filter.

we set the timeing and in Oct she ran to Octoder fest like a dream.

I have been running her every week to keep her happy

But

now she is blowing soot from the exuast, stinks of petrol and is not running at all well she wont tick over and has lost all power

could this be timeing?

It is a 1600 T2 bay 1975 I need your help

I have been on the hunt for seat belts and took my 6 year old boy to the scrap yard for the first time today, it was like history repeating it's self when I would go with my dad and climb over all the cars finding treasure in every corner

But no seat belts that are sutable all the new cars are to fancy now so I have had to order from JK lets hope they work and the family can carry on campping
