    • Hi i am fitting this kit to a bus that currently has a dynamo fitted. I understand the alternator has internal regulation, so I do not need the regulator and can remove it.. Can anybody help me with the wiring circuit ? It looks like the alternator has 2 wires, one presumably straight to the battery positive, what's the other one, and what do I do with the spare wires ?
    • Answer: Once you have removed the regulator you will be left with 2 cables. The thicker one can be extended to the connection with the post with a nut on (you will need to terminate the cable in a ring terminal) the smaller wire is extended to the spade terminal on the alternator.

    • from one Reynolds to another, do i need a carburetor spacer to stop it fouling the alternator? or is the casting cut to prevent this? cheers.
    • Answer: It would depend on what carb you have weather the pump jet may foul the alternator if you in any doubt send in a photo to sales@justkampers.co.uk
