  • Steel is too mild, does not holdup.

The catches and the lower seat support angled pieces have both bent with the bed up and down on the first 10 trip. The steel is too weak, bends and wears too easily. These are made of too soft a material to last less two weeks.

The design is good, execution piss poor due to material sellected. Not a quality product, made from material better used to draw for wire coathangers.

  • Great Brackets But!

Brackets are great and work well nice quality parts.
The drawback is that the drawings supplied with the brackets are too vague.
I think there used to be an MDF kit that could be bought for these, but no longer supplied.
A quality product but needs better support. Great if you enjoy 3D puzzles.

  • Good hings but no instruction how to build and put it together...

I havent bought it yet, but I will if I'am sur e how if I can build it and have instructions how to put it together... not just bay the pieces and let it be because i cant figger it out...
If you bay a IKEA furniture you get a instruction how to "get it done", why not with tihis product...

The only thing I can see how to do it is to watch Wheeler Dealers program VW Camper if it is the same type of product...
I want the same product as it is in the program, but then I must have a clue how to saw the tree and what type of other material...
In the program they say that they bought the "all parts from a specialist" - JustKampers....

If I will bay this exellent hinges I whant to bay the whole kit with the small parts I need and at least drawings how to saw the tree to the same type of VW ....
    Please help!!!

ADMIN EDIT: Please phone the sales team for some advice or look on the Just Kampers forums for builds & instructions that others have done.

    • How does the hinges support the back rest when the seat is in 'bed mode' ?
    • Answer: Hi there. The hinges do not support the backrest when the roll and roll bed is in the bed position, the back rest is supported by the bulkhead itself. regards.

    • i really need these hinges asap but if i order and have it posted to south africa, do u know how much the customs will be? Could it be labelled as a gift - then the customs wouldnt be that much coz im pretty sure car parts have huge customs on them. I dont know how else to get this item. Also if it was ordered today - approximately when do you think it would arrive? sorry to be a pain :)
    • Answer: I am unsure of what South African import taxes are on items so I have no way of estimating this, we would not be able to label this as a gift as we are obliged to ship the goods with an invoice enclosed so therefore the value is displayed. I am not sure of shipping times to South Africa as it relies on your local carriage system and this can drastically vary from country to country.
