    • do i have to isolate the starter battery when im camping to prevent it draining, or rewire the stereo so it runs of the lesure battery permanantly? or is all this taken care of in the kit and i wire both batterys into it and it only draws from the starter battery when the ingnition is switched on?
    • Answer: The relay disconnects the leisure battery as soon as you turn off the ignition. If you wanted to wire the stereo in to the leisure battery you would need to connect it up to the fuse box for the leisure battery.

    • Is this kit easy to fit for an amateur? Is the only other thing required a leisure battery?
    • Answer: This is the basic kit, an amateur should be able to install this. You may require some more cable to run from the fuse box to the ancillaries.

    • When this is installed, are you able to use the 12v power supply while driving (like any other car)?
    • Answer: When you say "like any other car"" very few vehicles have a secondary battery so I may possibly be misunderstanding what you are asking

    • How easy are these to fit?

      I'm a complete novice!
    • Answer: This is relatively simple if you have a good grasp of simple electronics but due to dealing with unfused connections direct to the battery, I would suggest seaking assistance if you are not confident
