Description

Good quality reproduction product. The next best thing in the absence of an original part! Fits nearside (left) on VW Beetles from 1963 onwards, VW T2 Split Screens from 1963 to 1967, and all 1600cc Bays from 1967 to 1979.

Please Note: Although it has fewer internal fins than the original, our testing showed that it provides more than adequate heating.

  • Same size as original, lower quality

This is quite a well put together product. However it is lighter in weight than the origianl VW part, and only has three heat vanes on each side of the exhaust, much less than the OG vw part, making it less efficient at taking heat away from the exhaust and to your interior. A fairly typical issue with these aftermarket heat exchangers.

    • Answer: Thes are a good quality Danish sourced product, we have researched this issue ourselves and have found these to be the best reproduction heat exchangers we can obtain.
